Our Roots
Our journey began in 1979 with Judy Rood, “The Pampered Lady”, one of the original aromatherapists of the 1970’s hippie revolution. From her boutique in Michigan to her pioneering shop at the Michigan Renaissance Festival, Judy’s passion for oils and aromatherapy shaped the heart of what Widdershins is today.
Her recipes, traditions, and magical spirit live on in every potion, lotion, and fragrance we create.

From our little Witch House Studio to festivals across the country, Widdershins continues to bring handcrafted scents to fans new and old.
